ICAHD UK Annual General Meeting – 23 April 2022
We hope you are keeping well and staying safe as we continue to face the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to uncertainties created by the virus, the ICAHD UK AGM will again be held online using Zoom - at 11.00am (UK time) on Saturday 23 April 2022.
Full details of how the AGM will operate and all documentation for the AGM will be distributed on, or around, 26 March, but we now need to provide notice for any who wish to put themselves forward for election to join the Executive Committee for a three-year term. Any paid-up member of ICAHD UK may stand for election to the Executive Committee. Subject to the Coronavirus situation, the Executive Committee meets in London four times a year. In the event that social distancing or other restrictions remain in place, meetings will be held over Zoom, Skype or a similar online conferencing tool.
Those who wish to stand for election are requested to complete a questionnaire which allows the current Executive Committee to get to know the candidate. In addition, the candidate is requested to provide the names of three ICAHD UK members so they can be asked to complete a separate questionnaire on behalf of the candidate. The final step is for the nominee to provide a short biography with a maximum of 250 words. The biography and the names of two members who endorse the nomination will be included in the reports distributed to members for the AGM. During the AGM, the nominee will be asked to speak and a vote on all those standing for election will be taken.
Those wishing to stand for election to the Executive Committee should provide their name and the contact details of their three referees. Please email me oninfo@icahduk.org or send a letter posted to ICAHD UK, BM ICAHD UK, London WC1N 3XX to arrive not later than Wednesday, 23 March. I will then proceed to contact the people and obtain the completed questionnaires.
